David McDonald
David is the founder of the Cyber Risk Guy blog.
David has 25 years of experience in information technology, including standing up cybersecurity programs, consulting, cybersecurity operations, programming, training and coaching.
He has worked primarily with customers in the US federal government and its suppliers, including DOD defense industrial base (DIB) suppliers, and NIH (NIAID/DMID) in both technical and advisory roles.
When he is not helping organizations fulfill their mission, he enjoys investing in real estate, running, skiing, traveling, and spending time with his family. He is also an avid reader and enjoys learning about new technologies, trends in cybersecurity and AI, and self-improvement.
